I’ve gotten great feedback on my last couple Fitness Friday posts, and I plan to continue them! I’ve had one request for a typical week of workouts, which I will definitely post about, likely next week. This week I really just wanted to check in with all of you to see how you’re doing so far on your fitness goals for 2013! I’d love to hear what your goals are so I can help encourage you to stick with them this year.
So, some motivation for you guys – I posted on Instagram last week that I’d made it to day 400 of my healthy living journey! The time has really flown by, and it’s been really rewarding to see my hard work pay off.

{Photo on the left is NYE last year, about 5 weeks into my journey, and the middle photo is this year’s NYE dress}
I’ve gotten a few good workouts in this week, and I even had David take a couple updated pictures for me! If you’re not following me on Instagram yet, I try to post motivating/encouraging workout posts several times a week.
Also, I’d love if you guys would join me in this month’s plank a day challenge! Here’s the schedule – I’ll be posting pictures to keep me accountable this month!
But on to the exciting part of this Fitness Friday post – A giveaway! What better time to have a fitness related giveaway than the first week of the new year? Hopefully all of you are motivated and excited about the changes this year will bring, and feeling cute while you workout always helps, let’s be honest. Can we also just talk about how gorgeous Suzanne is?! That’s her in all of the listing photos! Oh, and you KNOW I’ll be purchasing this after I reach my goal of running a half marathon this fall!

ReplyDeleteMy goals for 2013 are more triathlons (I did my first in 2012), 500 miles running or walking, no alcohol, and to get down to my high school weight (its 14% loss). Big goals but not out of sight!

ReplyDeleteMy goals isn't to loose weight but to be more healthy...more walking less Dr. Peppers.. More water..less junk food.
I love the Fear Less and the Be Your Own Kind Of Beautiful off the shoulder sweatshirts!
ReplyDeleteI didn't make goals for the new year this year -- mostly because I'm in the middle of goals, so why start new ones? Although maybe I should post on my continuing goals...
Anyway, I'm in the middle of training for a 10k. My main goal is to just keep running consistently, but I've found that training plans are what get me to run. So I plan to run a 10k this year! After that I'm thinking the next likely goal will be a half, although I'm going to see how I feel about 6 miles before I try 13 :)
Thanks for the giveaway!
I have a lot of goals for 2013. I'm actually making a resolution for every month of the year. For January, I'm focusing on a new workout program and extra healthy eating. You can read more about it here: http://freeingimperfections.blogspot.com/2013/01/year-of-resolutions-2013.html
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love the thirteen point freaking one tank. I'd be so awesome to run another half with that on!

ReplyDeleteMy Fitness goal for 2013 is to workout as long as possible before baby, and eat healthy for baby! Also, after baby is born I want to be at my pre-pregnancy weight by October!
You're doing great with your fitness journey! I'm all about running and working out and I think those tops are so cute!
ReplyDeleteSome of my fitness goals this year are to run 13 races, a sub 21 5K, 750 miles, workout at the gym 140 times, and to complete the 100 Burpee Challenge (day 4 is today - woohoo!).
