Already another Monday and somehow March already?! Time is seriously flying by, and with wedding season right around the corner, I don’t see it slowing down anytime soon!
This weekend I… got a great workout in Friday evening and ran my fastest 5K yet! 3 miles has finally gotten easy, so I’ll be increasing mileage in preparation for running a 10K this summer and a half marathon this fall – So exciting!

This weekend I… had wine night with the girls Friday night and David had beer club with the guys. One of our friends brought her 4 week old baby boy and another friend announced she’s 14 weeks pregnant, so that was fun! I didn’t plan on staying very late since we had to be up EARLY Saturday morning, but a few of us ended up talking until after 12:30 AM. Oops!
This weekend we… were up at 4:45 on Saturday to drive to Lawrence. David’s sister had a volleyball tournament on KU’s campus, so I decided to meet up with Laura, who I’ve been getting to know through my blog, Instagram, and Twitter! She’s in grad school at KU (actually with one of my former roommates!) and it was so much fun chatting about anything and everything. I’m sure we’ll be meeting up again sometime! We also watched quite a bit of volleyball (obviously) and made it to the KU game after scoring tickets last minute for $40/each. I knew it would be the last time I could see one of my all-time favorite players – Travis Releford – play live, it was a great game to be at, and it’s always so good to be back in Allen Fieldhouse!

This weekend we… grabbed a quick dinner Saturday evening, hit up Best Buy to purchase a tablet to use for Thoughtfully Designed and replace my laptop, and then met up with friends and my brother downtown at the brewery he works at for their 20th anniversary party. It made for a long day, but was a fun night!

This weekend we… had a great message at church Sunday, had lunch just the two of us again, got some work done, got David a gym membership (!!!), and had dinner with my family. We ended the evening with laundry and catching up on the DVR while doing more work and getting ready for the week. The high here yesterday was supposed to be in the 30s, but ended up being around 50, so I was feeling ready for spring with my outfit! I’m in love with this top I got at a local boutique on clearance!

It felt like the weekend flew by even faster than normal, and I’m sure this week will do the same with David traveling and me getting ready for the bridal show on Sunday (which is now less than a week away somehow!) Hope you all had a great weekend. Happy Monday!

Awesome workouts! You have a hot bod ;)
ReplyDeleteWay to go with your running! Have you had any trouble with your Polar monitor? Mine occasionally stops tracking my heart rate so I have to turn it on/off to get it going again. Any tips?
